Choosing Refining Flux for Different Aluminum Alloy Melts

Compares refining-flux selection by alloy condition, magnesium content, silicon content, and pollution-free or sodium-free requirements using the source product table.

Refining flux selection should start from the alloy and the melt condition, not only from a product name. Different aluminum melts may require sodium-free, pollution-free, magnesium-compatible, or general refining options.
Buyers should compare alloy compatibility, treatment objective, product form, and operating practice. A flux that fits one melt route may not be the best option for another furnace or alloy family.
For magnesium-containing aluminum alloys, selection needs extra care because some flux families are designed for that condition while others are not. For cleaner production requirements, sodium-free or pollution-free options should be discussed early.
When requesting a recommendation from Zhongshan Huayu, provide alloy grade, furnace type, melt temperature range, current defect issue, and any environmental restrictions. Missing process information should be clarified before final selection.
